Drivers were warned of delays on the A2 this morning following a crash.

Kent County Council's highways department tweeted that it happened on the coastbound side of the road between the Shepherdswell and Coldred junctions, near Dover.

KCC Highways' announcement came just after 8.10am.

It said the situation was ongoing and warned of delays for drivers.

KentOnline has contacted the emergency services for further details.

KCC tweeted an hour later to say the delays had been cleared.
