FIREFIGHTERS were called to a country lane near Dover after a man was found dead in a crashed vehicle.

Specialist crews from Dover cut the body free. Police have not yet released the name of the victim. The accident happened at Westcourt Lane, Shepherdswell, at about 10.40pm Saturday. No other vehicle was involved.

Firefighters from Aylesham and Whitfield were also called to the scene.
