Trains were suspended this afternoon after a vehicle hit a railway bridge.
Southeastern announced all trains between Shepherdswell and Dover Priory had been cancelled while response staff assessed the structure.
Bus replacement services were running between the stations.
A Tweet from the operator said: "No trains can run between Shepherdswell and Dover Priory, due to a road vehicle colliding with a bridge.
"Response staff are en route to assess the bridge."
Later, the operator said Network Rail had reopened the bridge, but said trains will have to run at reduced speed, and therefore said there will be delays in the area.
Last month a similar incident occurred when a lorry crashed into a rail bridge – but the driver did not report the accident.
Trains were suspended between Dover Priory and Shepherdswell following the collision in Kearsney.
