Drivers have been warned to expect delays after traffic lights failed on a main route.

Police were scrambled to the Woolcomber Street junction on the A20 in Dover today following reports of the fault.

Kent Highways has reported its fellow agency, National Highways, has been notified.

The authority has told drivers to expect delays in the area and approach with caution.

The police have been contacted for comment.
