Police in Dover are appealing for witnesses and information following the theft of £150,000 worth of designer bikinis from a lorry on the A20.

The lorry was parked on the London-bound Courtwood layby between Dover and Folkestone on Tuesday February 17.

The driver parked the lorry for a rest and at some time between 7pm and 4am the following day five boxes of Pistol Panties designer bikinis were stolen.

The bikinis were due to be distributed in Oxford Street stores such as Selfridges and Top Shop and sell for around £150 each.

Police say they would like to hear from anyone who witnessed the theft, saw anything suspicious or has any information about the whereabouts of the bikinis.

DC Simon Osland can be contacted on 01304 240055 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
