Diners have the chance to meet one of the best-known names on the UK restaurant scene.
Celebrity chef Marco Pierre White will be in Dover on Wednesday, December 4.
This is to mark the first anniversary of the opening of Mr White’s English Chophouse at the Best Western Plus Dover Marina Hotel & Spa.
Fans can meet him that evening, enjoy a glass of fizz and a three-course dinner at the restaurant and get a personally signed copy of his book White Heat 25.
But they need to book soon as numbers for the dinner are limited and are already in short supply.
Many believe Mr White has single handedly transformed the UK restaurant scene into a leader in global gastronomy.
The restaurants, also the twin Wheelers Fish and Chips, have become multi-award winners since opening last November.
They have featured in four of eight awards on offer at Black & White Hospitality’s recent awards night for Marco Pierre White restaurants.
The hotel, at Waterloo Crescent, picked up the award for Most Improved Restaurant 2018, was a finalist for the Training Recognition and Team Member of the Year awards and made the shortlist for Restaurant of the Year 2019.
The Chophouse at Dover was only the third to open in the country, following the launch of the brand in London and Manchester.
With Wheelers the hotel is one of only two in the world to have two Marco-inspired restaurants under the same roof.
