It’s not your average wedding but when the special occasion is being filmed for a series called Ronnie’s Redneck Road Trip, it was hardly going to be.

Dover couple Karen Chamberlain and Peter Dowling’s big day will feature on the reality TV show tomorrow.

Four female bulldogs were bridesmaids, in matching dresses, and one male, King, was the best man and ring bearer at the wedding in Cullins Yard, which took place last October.

The couple originally met on Facebook while Peter was living in Spain and Karen was in Kent.

Karen, 49, said: “We ended up happily here in Dover with our bulldog babies so we can walk them on the beach every day as they love beach life.”

Karen and Peter's wedding day will be shown on Ronnie's Redneck Road Trip on the Dave channel between 8pm and 9pm tomorrow.
