Network provider, Vodafone, has bought the Phones 4U store in Biggin Street, Dover, saving around four jobs.
It was only last week that Phones 4U plunged into administration after EE and Vodafone withdrew their supply.
The Phones 4U website was taken offline and replaced with a message to customers illustrated with a sad face.
It was signed off: "Thank you for your custom. The heartbroken Phones4u team."
But it has now emerged that out of 550 stores, half have been saved.
Confirmation of the Dover sale was sent to the store manager, Dayne Southern, via email.
The 27-year-old said: "We received a welcome email and the contract of sales has now gone through.
"It said that they understand it has been a difficult time."
It is understood that Vodafone has bought 140 small stores, acquiring 900 members of staff into its brand.
During this large transition, Mr Southern said that the store's workers have been given the rest of the week off paid.
Mr Southern said that one staff member has left the store, and hopes to recruit more workers in the near future.
