TRAFFIC was disrupted on the A20 through Dover this morning when a lorry crashed into a wall at Snargate Street.

The lorry was heading away from the port when it appeared to have mounted the pavement, demolished some street furniture and part of a wall above the De Bradelei Wharf car park.

It is thought the driver escaped injury. Traffic was reduced to single file as firefighters, police and recovery engineers worked on clearing the wreckage and removing the lorry, which was extensively damaged.
