Motorists face a 38-mile diversion route this weekend as roadworks are carried out on the A2 near Dover.
National Highways will be returning to the busy route between Whitfield and Lydden for essential carriageway repairs and maintenance.
The work will be carried out overnight between 8pm and 6am only, starting on Saturday evening and finishing on Monday morning.
A 38-mile diversion route will be in place from Brenley Corner on the M2, near Faversham, with traffic being diverted along the A299 and A256 towards Whitfield.
Traffic heading from Dover towards London will follow the same route in reverse.
Motorists travelling to Dover from Canterbury will follow the A28, A253, A299 and A256.
Those driving to the port of Dover will be diverted to join the M20/A20.
