Police release e-fit of man following attempted robbery in Dover

An e-fit image has been released of a man who allegedly grabbed and demanded money from a 12-year-old boy.

It happened between 8.30am and 9.18am on Thursday, March 19 in waste ground off Noah's Ark Road in Dover.

The boy was walking to school when he was approached by the man who was riding a BMX bike with a blue saddle and yellow stripes on the forks.

The boy was able to free himself from the man and run to his grandparents' house.

He was uninjured and nothing was stolen.

The suspect is described by the victim as a dark European male, about 40 and of slim build.

He is about 6ft with stubble and had a scar below his left eye.

He wore a black hooded top with the hood up and light coloured tracksuit bottoms with trainers.
