A special addition to the Easley family in Dover was delivered on Christmas morning.

Baby Isobel Easley was born at home, weighing 9lb 2oz, in Maxton Road at 7.31am.

Mum, Maria, 33, an office worker at P&O, and dad James, who owns his own creative agency, were delighted with their new daughter, a sister to two year-old Imogen.

Mrs Easley said having Isobel on Christmas day was no surprise to her.

"By my calculations, she was due on the 25th but the hospital said she was due on December 27.

"We were going to go around to my parents to have our dinner, so instead they bought Christmas dinner to us," she said.

Now the family plan to spend the holidays getting acquainted with their new arrival.
