An air ambulance has landed near Dover Castle after, it is believed, an elderly man crashed his car into a wall.

The incident happened at 2.45pm. Police say the driver may have had a "medical episode" in his vehicle.

It is understood that his wife was the only passenger in the car.

Sections of the road near Dover Castle on the Jubilee Way roundabout have been coned off to other motorists.

A Kent Police spokesman could not confirm the extent of the injuries but didn't think they were life threatening.
