The police are at a residential property in Dover following concerns for the welfare of a person.

It is understood they were called at around 4pm to Clarendon Place.

A police spokesman said: "It’s nothing for the public to be concerned about.

"We are currently at a private residential address following a report for concerns for the welfare of a person.

"Officers are at the scene conducting inquiries."
