A film extra from Dover who took part in Wild Child, predicted to be this summer’s next big blockbuster, has arranged a special screening.
Hailed by Sugar magazine as the teen movie of the decade, Wild Child tells the story of a spoilt Malibu princess who is sent to a strict English boarding school to straighten out.
The film stars Emma Roberts (niece of actress Julia) as Poppy the wild child of the title, Natasha Richardson, Shirley Henderson, Aidan Quinn and Alex Pettyfe.
Karol Steele, who plays the school’s religious education teacher, organised the showing for those in the film at the Odeon Cinema, St George's Place, Canterbury, on Friday, August 15.
“We all had such a wonderful time filming that we all promised that we would get back together to watch the movie when it came out,” she said.
