A country road that links three villages together has been temporarily closed due to a fallen tree.

Kent County Council announced closure of the route along Everden Road just after 1.30pm today.

The tree is being removed from the road, which links Alkham with Swingfield and Hawkinge.

It is not thought to be disrupting the traffic flow between Dover and Folkestone along the Alkham Valley Road.
