A Kent group is hoping to spruce up a town in style, inspired by a council clean-up.
Dover Pride is organising two litter-picks, to be run in two weeks' time, and is encouraging attendees to make their outfits stand out.
The organisation said: "A little different to your average litter pick everyone is encouraged to come as they are and show pride in their town.
"Dress accordingly but make it fabulous!
"As a pride of artists and local to Dover this is a chance for Dover Pride and the local LGBTQ+ community and their allies to come together to take pride in their town in their big operation clean up."
One of the group's inspirations is a recent clean-up between Whitfield and Eastry.
Over the last seven days, Dover District Council contractors cleared about 40,000kgs of rubbish along the A256.
The first Dover Pride litter-picking event will be on the seafront on Saturday, April 10 between 11am to 1pm.
The second will be on Saturday, April 17 in Pencester Gardens, also from 11am to 1pm.
Masks will be worn during the event, social distancing enforced and numbers will be limited.
