Firefighters spent last night tackling a derelict building blaze.

Crew were alerted to a fire in Greenwich Lane, Ewell Minnis, near Dover at 9pm.

Four fire engines were sent to the scene and crews arrived to find the property well alight, with smoke and flames issuing from the building.

Firefighters used main jets and hose reel jets to extinguish the blaze.

No casualties were reported and the exact cause has not yet been established.

The operation was stopped at 11.41pm.
