Relentless rainfall on Tuesday caused major routes around the district to become flooded.
The Met Office issued a yellow weather warning for rain, that was set to remain in place until this morning.
Kent County Council Highways (KCC) shut some roads down until the floodwater subsided, and some remain closed today (Wednesday).

Kent Fire and Rescue were called to more than 25 flood related incidents in east Kent on Tuesday.
A flood alert has been issued this morning (Wednesday) for the North and South streams area including the Deal to Sandwich Road, the villages of Finglesham, Hacklinge, Eastry and Worth.
A spokesman said: "Our staff and contractors will be at our pumping station on Wednesday morning to ensure that we are able to pump water as effectively as possible. Flooding of low lying land is likely, but we do not expect property flooding to occur. The outlook is for some further rain on Wednesday, but less than on Tuesday, and we will continue to monitor the situation closely."
