They seized a small amount of a suspected class A drug and mobile phones.

The 25-year-old was arrested on suspicion of being involved in drug supply and has since been bailed while an investigation continues.

The following day, officers carried out a search of a home in Leyburne Road, leading to suspected heroin being seized.

Two men and a woman, aged between 37 and 58, were arrested and inquiries into activity at the premises are ongoing.

Sergeant Alex Miles, of Dover community safety unit said officers in the area had heard concerns from residents about drug dealing in the town.

“We fully understand the impact drug dealing and the knock-on crime and anti-social behaviour has on communities and we are determined to keep making arrests and building cases against those involved,” he said.

“I urge anyone with concerns that drugs are being sold or produced in their area to report it through the Kent Police website, or by calling 999 if a crime is in progress.”
