A hillside was ablaze this evening as flames spread across five acres of land in Dover.
Trees, bushes and scrubland the size of three football pitches were engulfed as several fires took hold.
As many as 25 firefighters in six fire engines were called to the scene near Elms Vale Road at around 6pm.
A fire service spokesman said: "Crews used a variety of equipment designed to prevent the spread of fire in these conditions, including a fire-fogging unit which creates a vapour mist to smother and extinguish flames.
"There are no reports of any injuries and the cause is not known."
Crews left the scene at around 7.30pm.
