Colourful flags flew high as hundreds of people gathered in a town centre to celebrate Pride.
More than 500 people joined in a march through Dover for the event, which pays tribute to the town’s LGBTQ+ community.
It kick-started a day of celebrations at 11am at Maison Dieu Gardens before travelling through to Market Square and Roman Lawn, between York Street and Market Square.
People lined the streets to show their support as the parade went by.
The party continued with music, entertainment and a makers' market.
Performers such as Amrick Channa from the X Factor and The Voice, took to the main stage for entertainment hosted by drag queen The Diety and co-host Miss Di Vour.
Dance troupe Haus Of Heels and TikTok sensation Sophia Stardust also took to the stage.
Drag Queen Bettie Late N’ Never also performed on the second stage at the Dover Pride Café at La Salle Verte.
This is the fifth year Pride has taken place in the town and organisers say they don't plan on stopping there.
Frazer Doyle, chair and co-founder of Dover Pride, said: “Each year of Dover Pride feels like a leap into making Dover a more inclusive place.
“It might not seem like it from the outside but there have been so many small events popping up locally which then create social circles, making LGBTQ+ and queer connections which lead to collaborations, partnerships and other opportunities.
“This year we’re celebrating five years of Dover Pride which has come such a long way and that’s really down to how hard our small but dedicated creative team works.
“They put in the hard work because they care about the future of Dover and its LGBTQ+ community.”
Dover Pride, which is sponsored by the Port of Dover, Future Foundry and the National Education Union, is a community event designed to raise awareness, support and respect for the LGBTQ+ community.
Further celebrations will continue into the evening with an After Dark Party, for over 18s only, at The Attic Bar and Nightclub.
Organisers have confirmed Dover Pride will return for a sixth year on Saturday, August 24. 2024.
