Dover-born singer Joss Stone is returning to her home town next week to perform at Dover town hall.
Tickets go on sale today (Thursday) for the event which takes place next Wednesday, March 4. The next night she is giving another concert at Castle Community College in Deal.
"I've decided to play some shows at home - come along, we'll have a laugh," said Joss, who was born at Buckland Hospital and attended the Brambley Hedge Children's Centre and St Mary's Primary School.
The family lived in Albert Road before moving from Dover to Devon when she was eight years old.
She shot to fame after being featured on the BBC television show Junior Star For The Night when she was just 14, and has never looked back.
She has appeared at many of the big international venues and has sung on stage with James Brown, The Rolling Stones, Stevie Wonder, Elton John, Robbie Williams and Smokey Robinson.
Joss, who will be 22 in April, spends much of her time in America although she visits Dover from time to time to see her relatives.
She was tight-lipped about these special concerts when she was here a couple of weeks ago, but details have been exclusively revealed in this week's Dover Mercury and East Kent Mercury.
Joss will also be talking about the events on Benedict Smith's show on KMfm on Saturday at 10.30am.
She says she will be singing some of her new songs from the album Colour Me Free which is yet to be released, as well as some favourites from previous albums.
Tickets are available on www.jossstone.co.uk, www.seetickets.com www.ticketweb.co.uk or The Soundhouse, High Street, Deal, phone 01304 381134, for the Deal concert.
