Kent County Council Trading Standards has issued a rogue trader warning after an elderly resident in Dover was swindled out of £350.
On Wednesday, September 3 a rogue trader targeted the vulnerable Dover resident, who agreed to pay a man £350 for tree works.
The man was paid but he did not carry out any of the work.
The man was driving a white, sign written van which has a red and yellow reflective warning sticker around the base of the vehicle.
The business card he is handing out states he can do the following work; pruning of fruit trees, rubbish removed, all roots destroyed and hedges pruned and trimmed.
Kent County Council Trading Standards has asked anyone who sees this man to report it to them on the citizens advice consumer service number 03454 040506 or text ROGUE, a space then the details to 07860 008025.
