Flames engulfed a kitchen in Crabble Lane on Friday night after a fire started inside a cooker.

Firefighters from Dover and Folkestone were called out at 8.50pm and spent 40 minutes extinguishing it with a hose reel.

The property was also cleared of smoke with a positive pressure ventilation fan.

No one was injured.
