Firefighter have been tackling large haystack fire.
Villagers were advised to keep windows and doors closed while they tackled the blaze in Lydden Hill, near Dover, which started at 11pm yesterday.
Two fire engines were at the scene, along with specialist equipment from the technical rescue team – including a telehandler working to break up the haystack and extinguish the flames.
While the blaze was alight, fire spokesman said: "People in the vicinity of Lydden village are asked to close windows and doors due to a smoke plume which may affect the village."
Crews were at the scene extinguishing the flames until just after 4pm.
