A 37-year-old man has been charged with a number of offences after an incident in which three teenagers were hit by a car in a Kent village.
Andrew Taylor, of Common Lane, River, near Dover, is accused of two counts of causing grievous bodily harm and one count of causing actual bodily harm.
He has also been charged with possessing an offensive weapon, a pickaxe handle, and dangerous driving. He was due to appear in court at Folkestone today.
Two boys and a girl were taken to the Queen Elizabeth Queen Mother Hospital in Margate with various injuries on Monday evening after the incident in Ash Close, River.
The girl and one of the boys were discharged that night. The other boy was detained for treatment for a fracture.
