A Dover man has been sentenced after reportedly threatening to 'rip out' a PCSO's spine.
Michael John Stanton, of Castle Hill Road, has been charged with a public order offence and given a 12 month community order, sentenced to 80 hours unpaid work.
Stanton has also been ordered to pay £520 court costs.
This comes after he was arrested in December last year following an incident in Pencester Park.
It happened on December 7, where he was spotted on CCTV drinking from a can in the alcohol control zone.
A PSCO responded to the incident and on arrival, Stanton was abusive towards the officer.
He was aggressive and used bad language, including the threat to 'rip out' the officer's spine.
Stanton was later arrested and charged with using threatening behaviour with intent to cause fear of violence.
He denied the offence but was found guilty at Folkestone Magistrates Court on October 2, 2014.
