An arrest has been made after an alleged assault left a man in hospital.
Police and ambulance services descended on a bus stop in Dover town centre at 7.30pm yesterday.
The assault happened in Folkestone Road, near Dover Priory railway station, and a man with a head injury was given treatment by medics before being taken to hospital.
A man in his 30s from the Dover area was arrested on suspicion of assault in connection with the attack.
He has been bailed until Sunday, June 21 while investigations continue.
