A man has been pulled from the sea by police in Dover.
Officers were called to the coast at 5.20pm following reports of concern for the man's welfare.
A spokesman said "patrols engaged with the man" before he was treated at the scene by paramedics.
He was taken to hospital by ambulance.
There is no suggestion the incident is linked to the disappearance of a man who ran into the sea last night after a car crash in Sheerness.
