Horrified neighbours woke to the sight of police dealing with the discovery of a body.

Officers were called by paramedics at 6.45am to a car park off Rokesley Road, Dover.

Police say a man was pronounced dead at the scene following reports of a medical incident.

A spokesman added the death is not being treated as suspicious and a report will be prepared for the coroner.

A neighbour said he first noticed the police presence from his kitchen window.

“At first it was one police car then I saw a screen had been put up,” he said.

“They dealt with everything quickly because this was at a time when children were leaving for school.

“Police also advised people to keep away from the scene. It was all quite shocking.”
