A pensioner has been jailed for more than five years after admitting a string of child sex offences.
Leslie Eric Danton, 66, pleaded guilty to three counts of assaulting a girl under 13 and three counts of inciting a girl under 13 to engage in sexual activity.
He also pleaded guilty to three counts of assaulting a girl under 13 by touching.
All the offences took place at his home in from Chilton Field, Ash.
Investigating officer detective sergeant Daniel Aylett, of Kent Police’s Sexual Offences Investigation Team, said: "Danton is a highly manipulative person who carried out a series of attacks on a young girl in a short space of time.
"I commend the bravery of the victim in coming forward and the sentence given to Danton is a satisfying result for officers who worked very hard to bring the offender to justice."
The crimes were committed between September 1 last year and January 4.
Danton was jailed for five years and four months today at Canterbury Crown Court.
He will also be placed on the sex offenders’ register.
