An American marching band will be giving a colourful display in Dover on New Year's Eve.

The Pride of Arapahoe Warrior marching band from Colorado, are coming to the town ahead of their appearance in the New Year's Day parade in London.

They will be setting off from Dover's Market Square on New Year's Eve at 2pm, marching through the precinct to the town hall, into Ladywell, Maison Dieu Road and Pencester Road and to Pencester Gardens to perform at the bandstand.

The visit has been organised by Dover Carnival Association Limited who hope the people of Dover will turn out in good numbers to welcome the visitors to the town.
