A man missing for two days has been found.
Jonathan Davis vanished after he was last seen in the Melbourne Avenue area of Dover at 6pm on Monday, December 30.
A police spokesperson announced this afternoon: “A 35-year-old man, reported missing from Dover on Monday, has been found.
“Officers would like to thank all those who assisted with their enquiries and shared the appeal.”
Mr Davis’ disappearance had sparked a huge search operation.
Yesterday, officers released a CCTV image of him in the Sheridan Road area, which is also on the Buckland estate.
His family told KentOnline that police had drones, dogs and a helicopter searching for him.
Residents had told of hearing a helicopter continually flying over the town last night and the night before.
In public appeals to help find Mr Davis, police said they had concerns for his welfare.
His sister Stephanie Davis previously told KentOnline: “We can’t get hold of him and he turned his phone off at 6pm yesterday so nobody has been able to locate him since.
“The police had drones, dogs and a helicopter searching for him.
“We are all in shock and just want him home safe.”
