A 19-year-old motorcyclist suffered leg fractures after colliding with a car in Cherry Tree Avenue this morning.

Two ambulances and the police arrived at 7.20am.

The man was fully conscious, but was rushed to the William Harvey Hospital in Ashford as a priority.

It is understood the road is now clear from the incident, but traffic is still building up due to gas maintenance works in Coombe Valley Road.
