A motorcyclist has died in a crash.

The man in his 30s was riding on the A20 near to the port in Dover yesterday when the accident happened.

Emergency services were called to the scene at 8.45pm and the motorcyclist, who had been riding a blue Yamaha MT-09, was pronounced dead.

Officers are investigating the circumstances of the crash and it is not yet known if any other vehicles were involved in the incident.

A spokesman for Kent Police said: "Officers from the serious collision investigation unit are looking into the circumstances and urge anyone who witnessed the collision and has yet to speak to police, or who has dashcam footage, to contact them."
