A gourmet kebab chain will open a new branch next month.
German Doner Kebab will start trading at Unit 2a of St James' Retail and Leisure Park at Dover, close to the Travelodge hotel.
It will create about 40 jobs in the area.
This new opening is part of the company's rapid expansion in other parts of the UK and globally.
Food is prepared in front of customers using fresh local vegetables, served in handmade toasted breads with unique signature sauces, bosses say.
The restaurant menu will feature the brand’s all new Coco & Kiki kebabs, the UK’s first pink kebabs.
The products are combined with doner meats, fresh lettuce, tomato, onion, red cabbage and are mixed with GDK savoury flavours.
Customers can dine in, take away click and collect and eventually a delivery service will be provided.
It will join Nando's, Burger King and Kaspas at the shopping centre, which is also home to M&S Food Hall, Next, Greggs, a cinema and a gym.
Daniel Bunce, GDK global chief operating officer, said: “We’re delighted to officially announce plans to bring the German Doner Kebab experience to Dover.
“Our game-changing kebabs are revolutionising the kebab in the UK and we are excited to be bringing a new fast-casual dining experience to the area.”
The brand, founded in Berlin in 1989, now has more than100 restaurants in the UK including in Bromley High Street, St George's Street in Canterbury, Week Street in Maidstone and Grosvenor Road, Tunbridge Wells.
Another is due to open in Gravesend.
GDK can also be found in the United Arab Emirates, Sweden Canada, and the fast-growing company will also soon expand into Ireland, Saudia Arabia and more parts of the United States.
