A ferry company has given another record-breaking boost to the RNLI.
P&O Ferries has raised £13,522.59 for the charity for collections during 2018.
This is the highest ever sum, just over £500 more than the previous record of £13,012 for 2017.
Again the money came from collections boxes on all six of the Dover ferry company's Channel ships during the year.
The cheque was presented at P&O's headquarters, Channel House.
RNLI coxswain James Clapham said: “We are very grateful to P&O Ferries, their employees and passengers for their valuable donations.
"These contributions are a big part of our ability to undertake life-saving at sea."
Joe Ciantar, P&O head of security, gaming and foreign exchange, said: "This is another record breaking amount from the generosity of our passengers and employees for the RNLI.
"The RNLI is our nominated charity with whom we have a long connection and relationship.”
