Folkestone Road, in Dover, blocked between St John's Road and Clarendon Road after two-vehicle crash

One person was injured in a crash involving two vehicles which has blocked a road in both directions.

Folkestone Road, in Dover, has seen traffic build between St John's Road and Clarendon Road for more than three hours.

Emergency services attended the collision on the route, used by those travelling between Dover and Folkestone.

A spokeswoman for Kent Police said: "We were called just before 10am on Saturday to Folkestone Road, Dover following reports of a collision involving two vehicles.

"Officers attended, along with SECAMB and Kent Fire and Rescue Service."

Meanwhile a spokeswoman for Kent Fire and Rescue Service added: “We was called to a crash involving two cars and two people near Folkestone Road in Dover.

“Two fire engines attended, and crews assisted SECAMB to free the male trapped.”

Ambulance crews have been contacted for comment.
