A woman has been taken to hospital after colliding with a lamppost in Whitfield.

Kent Police was called to the scene at 10.16am this morning to the roundabout near Tesco in Whitfield.

The driver was taken to William Harvey Hospital with minor injuries.

Kent Highways was contacted for repairs to be made to the lamppost and the car was removed from the scene at 11.45am.
