A man has been charged following a police chase yesterday.

Lewis Kent, 31, of Rosewood Heights in Dover, was charged with dangerous driving, failing to stop, driving without a licence or insurance and possessing class B drugs.

He is next due to appear at Folkestone Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday, 19.

This stems from an incident yesterday afternoon when a driver in a car in Coombe Valley Road, Dover, allegedly failed to stop for police.

The car was pursued and ended up in collison with three other vehicles in Melbourne Avenue, Dover.
