Detectives have again been given extra time to question a man arrested in connection with two Syria-related terrorism offences.
The 32-year-old, who was detained in Dover last Saturday, will remain in custody in the West Midlands until Friday, December 20.
He is suspected of preparing to commit terrorism offences and funding or supporting terrorism.
A 31-year-old woman, also arrested in Dover last weekend, has been released without charge.
KentOnline revealed on Tuesday that police had been granted a six-day extension, which was due to end today, to quiz them both.
Meanwhile, a 49-year-old man apprehended in Solihull on Wednesday on suspicion of funding or supporting terrorism has been bailed as investigations continue.
Officers stress the arrests are not linked to last month's London Bridge attack.
A spokesman for West Midlands Police said: "The arrests are not linked in any way to the London Bridge terror attack and enquiries into this matter were underway prior to the incident on November 29," he said.
"Every year thousands of reports from the public help police tackle the terrorist threat.
"If you see or hear something that doesn’t seem right, trust your instincts and ACT by reporting to police in confidence at gov.uk/ACT.
"Reporting won’t ruin lives, but it could save them."
