Police are hunting a robber who attacked a woman and stole cash from her bag.

The suspect is said to have stalked her victim down Folkestone Road and Clarendon Road in Dover.

She then reportedly assaulted her victim before escaping with an unknown amount of cash.

The suspect was last seen heading towards a nearby train station.

The incident happened at about 12.15am on Thursday, August 20, and police have now issued CCTV images of the suspect.

Officers say the woman in the images "is thought to know important information about the events that happened".
