Part of a busy road was blocked for more than two hours following a three-car crash.

The eastbound carriageway of the A20 at South Alkham was closed by police as they dealt with the accident.

It happened at around 6.50pm between Alkham Valley Road and Court Wood Interchange.

Traffic heading from the M20 at Folkestone towards Dover was affected.

The road eventually reopened just before 9pm.
