Ferries at the Port of Dover have been affected by adverse weather conditions today and are experiencing long delays.

P&O Ferries has issued a warning to say some sailings are delayed by up to an hour and a half due to extreme weather conditions.

DFDS Seaways has experienced delays of up to 45 minutes.

The Port of Dover has advised all passengers to check with their operators before travelling as strong winds and rain are affecting ferry crossings.
