A KENT man is offering a £500 reward for information which leads to the recovery of valuable items stolen from his home.
Paul Harrington was only away from his home, at West Hougham, between Dover and Folkestone, for a few hours on Monday, June 27, when someone broke in and took jewellery and computer equipment.
Among the items stolen - several of which belonged to Mr Harrington’s mother-in-law who died last year - were a number which are unique or very rare, and therefore can easily be identified.
They include an art deco glass flower necklace, an art deco diamond ring, a triple stone diamond ring, and a silver amethyst necklace.
Also taken was a nine-carat gold chain which had four charms attached to it, a car, an acorn, the letter H and a heart-lock. Mr Harrington had bought it for his wife.
The burglar took a Hewlett Packard computer - which contained vital information for Mr Harrington’s work - and a 17-inch flat screen.
Anyone with information is asked to contact the police on Dover (01304) 240055 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
