A live music event for sea rescue charity the RNLI has been cancelled because of Covid-19.
A facebook post by Dover RNLI fundraising chairman Paul Swinerd said this is the first time in 12 years the annual event has not taken place, but he vowed it will be back "bigger and stronger" in 2021.
It was due to take place at Bluebirds in Snargate Street on July 18.
A raffle, planned for the event, will still be drawn on July 30 and prizes include: a holiday for two adults and four children (or four adults) to a Eurocamp destination with ferry crossings included; various meals for two at locations including Blakes of Dover in Castle Street, The Pig in Canterbury and Hythe Bay Seafood Restaurant in Esplanade.
Also up for grabs are tickets to attractions like Dover's Silver Screen cinema, the spitfire museum and Leeds Castle and Hythe Imperial spa passes.
Raffle tickets are available from Santander Bank, and by socially distanced arrangement from Paul Swinerd and Andrew Mitson contactable via Facebook.
