A man suffered head injuries when he was hit by a bus in Dover.
The accident happened in Park Road at about 12.30pm, which was closed in both directions and an air ambulance has landed at Pencester Park to treat the patient.
South East Coast Ambulance Service was called to the scene.
SECAmb press officer Richard Airey said:
Secamb was called to Dour Street at about 12.40pm, responding to reports that a man had been injured by a bus.
"Three ambulance cars, one ambulance and Kent Air Ambulance joined at the scene.
"The pedestrian was treated at the scene for suspected head and shoulder injuries before being taken by road to WHH Ashford.
“The air ambulance did not airlift the casualty to hospital but they joined us in our ambulance to help treat him on the way to hospital.”
The man's injuries are not thought to be life threatening.
A spokesman for Kent Police said: "Police received a report of a collision in Park Place, Dover, at 12.38pm on Wednesday, March 30. It was reported that the collision was between a bus and a person.
"A road closure is currently being enforced and officers remain at the scene."
KCC Highways tweeted that the road is "closed in both directions due to an RTC.
"Emergency services in attendance, please use an alternative route."
It is believed the incident involved a Stagecoach bus as the bus company tweeted there had been an incident and Ladywell Road is closed with number 15, 100, 101 and 102 services being diverted.
