A roundabout on the A20 in Dover has reopened following a collision between a car and a lorry.

Police and a fire crew were called to the incident on the junction of Townwall Street and York Street, at 11.20am today (Saturday).

A spokesman said: “We were called to an RTC in Snargate Street. It was blocking the roundabout.

“There was damage to the car, a green BMW. The nearside wheel had come off and it was leaking brake fluid.

Police managed the traffic and the road was reopened by 12.20pm.

No injuries were reported.
