DOVER Rowing Club celebrated the end of yet another successful year with their annual presentation dinner at the Churchills Hotel.
The highlight of this season was provided by the Senior Ladies' four of Ashleigh Stevenson, Charlotte Bailey, Rachel Bailey, Kayleigh Stevenson and Lewis Stevenson, who reclaimed the CARA championship, while Liam Stampton and Tom Pain won the Men's Junior Pairs title.
Club chairman Nick Bailey won the Club Person of the Year award and the Most Promising Female Rower trophy went to Danielle Pain, who gained two wins in the Junior Ladies' Fours and also represented the South East region at the Junior Inter-regional championships.
The Most Promising Male Rower award went to Lewis Stevenson, who gained a Novice Fours win at Bexhill Regatta. The trophy was presented to Lewis by Kevin Goodwin, who donated the trophy in memory of his late wife Sarah.
The Rowers' Rower award was won jointly by Lewis Stevenson and Chris Price and the Coxswain of the Year trophy went to the club's new vice-captain, Charlotte Bailey.
The Captain's trophy was won by Julie Pain, and a special award went to Josh Stevenson and Natasha Bailey for the best fund-raisers at this year's Dover Regatta.
